Ty Kaunas is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Orwigsburg, PA who attends Nativity B V M. Smaller frame with a very lean build. Ran a 7.68 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good clean actions around the dirt, presents the glove well especially on the move, releases from a shorter arm action and arm strength plays well across. Also pitches, simple delivery with some intent, good run to the fastball when in the zone and showed some developing feel for a bigger breaking ball. Righthanded hitter, sets up balanced, good bat to ball and contact skills, developing bat speed but shows good handle of the barrel and is able to adjust while matching plane well with an all-fields approach that projects well with added strength.
