2021 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Evander Jimenez is a 2021 OF/ with a 5-7 157 lb. frame from Casselberry, FL who attends Lake Howell. Medium frame with slender, compact build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.75 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, sinks hips and dives onto front side, short to ball, handsy swing, shows good barrel feel with projectable power, will drive the ball more with strength. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball with athleticism and momentum, fields cleanly, throws from high slot with compact arm stroke, clocked up to 70 mph on throws. Good student.
