Jonathan Ramallo is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends ESB Academy. Medium frame with athletic, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.21 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, extraneous movement in hand load, compact bat speed and strength, can get the barrel out at times and impact the ball, timing-reliant, flashes pop when square. Worked out in the outfield and showed well, moves well to the ball and stays balanced, fields cleanly on the charge and works through into throwing mechanics, big time arm strength, clocked up to 95 mph on throws. Also pitched, works out of the stretch, gets online to the plate well, fast arm, fastball worked 84-88 mph with whip to stroke, natural cutting life on fastball, violence to release, flashed a slider in the upper-70's. Very good student, committed to Florida SouthWestern State College.
