Charlie Powers is a 2020 2B/RHP/C with a 5-5 155 lb. frame from Methuen, MA who attends Central Catholic HS. Compact build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, upper body rotational swing with minimal lower body use, contact approach and moves the ball around the field. 7.66 runner, has a quick first step in the middle infield and shows side to side range, second base arm strength. Also pitched, low hand delivery with good direction to the plate. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, every fastball effectively a cutter with occasional depth. Soft curveball, threw strikes with both pitches. Very good student.
