Anthony Y Rivera Rivera is a 2021 3B/C, 1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Comerio, PR who attends Escuela Especializada en baseball. Medium frame with a somewhat stocky type build showing strength in the lower half. Ran a 7.47 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, working with short, choppy steps to the baseball before gathering out front. Confident with the glove and then was quick with transfers. Full intent on every throw during drills as he threw it 76 mph during workouts. Secondary Catcher, starting with a wide base and a side saddle with runners on. Two hand receiver before gaining ground during transfers. Compact arm action as he released uphill to second. Recorded a pop time of 2.06 seconds. Right-Handed Hitter, narrow to start before working into a toe tap to stride. Gains ground and then fires the hips before utilizing a linear swing path. Looked to drive the baseball middle-away as he proved he had total control of the barrel. Flashed gap to gap power as well during his batting practice round. Outstanding Student. Verbal commit to El Paso CC.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
