Steven Wood is a 2023 OF/RHP, 2B, SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Northville, MI who attends Detroit Catholic Central. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.65 seconds. Starts open at the plate, closes off well in stride, has lift in swing, good bat speed with leverage and loft, easily projectable power on display here. Worked out in the outfield, moves well, shows whip to arm stroke clocked up to 84 mph. Projectable athlete with power upside. Very good student, named to 2021 Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
