Cameron Crawford is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Prairieville, LA who attends Dutchtown HS. Crawford has a slender body with with a lean projectable build. He showed very good speed with a sixty time of 6.79. Defensively Crawford showed solid defensive actions with good hands. He has solid arm strength up to 79 MPH and throws from a low slot. At the plate, Crawford starts with an open stance and has active hands in his swing. He has a deeper hand load and takes a big stride to contact. Crawford has some bat speed and swings on a line drive plane. He showed good barrel skills and squared the baseball up well. Very good student.
