Ethan Williams is a 2018 C/RHP, OF, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Moseley, VA who attends Cosby High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and strength throughout frame and used it well in game. Posted a 7.39 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddle start, clean transfer, gains ground well, developing accuracy, and arm strength up to 77 mph. Posted a workout pop time of 2.06. At the plate, started with an open stance, wide base, high hand set, high back elbow, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Line drive swing plane with good bat speed. Carry off the barrel with torque through lower half. Generates backspin with leverage through the ball. Showed impressive power potential. Also pitched, deceptive delivery, leg raise to belt, short, compact arm action, online landing, and threw from a three quarter arm slot. Dropp and drive element and creates plane to the lower third of the zone. Fastball worked 83-85 mph with good arm strength and mostly true action. Showed a 10/4 shaped slider with replicated arm speed and ability to generate swing and miss. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
