Peyton Landry is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends St Thomas More HS. Landry has a lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a square stance with a wide base and high back elbow. Opposite field approach with a line drive swing plane. Makes consistent contact. Good approach at plate. Defensively, feet work well, hands work, sure transfer and release with accurate throws across diamond. Also pitched, strong lower half, short compact delivery, high 3/4 arm slot and creates good down plane on fastball. Good live on fastball down in zone, curveball has 10/4 shape with good depth, maintains arm speed on curveball. Good Student.
