Nicholas Baillargeon is a 2024 C/OF with a 6-2 172 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Xaverian. High-waisted, long, lean build with some strength present in his lower half. Recorded a 4.20-second thirty time. Primary catcher, low, side saddle set up. Very quick out of the crouch as he switches his feet, gaining some ground to his target. Quick, mid-line transfer with a short arm action and present arm strength, up to 76 mph on his throws to second. Recorded a best pop time of 1.94-seconds. Secondary outfielder, fields off his front foot with deliberate footwork. Accurate throws to the plate with easy carry as he showcased present arm strength, up to 83 mph. Could play through the ball more and carry his momentum through his throws. Right-handed hitter, upright, balanced stance, with a high-hand set, and a high back elbow. Utilizes a slight leg-lift-trigger to get lower half going. Compact, line-drive stroke with some gap-to-gap juice displayed during his BP round. Uses his long levers to produce barrel whip through the zone. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
