Carson Luna is a 2024 SS/MIF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. John's. Has good size with broad shoulders and is athletic. Primary infielder with a quick set of feet. Works around the ball well and moves well laterally. Makes it look easy getting to the ball. Throws from a higher slot with a smooth gather and quick release. Good arm strength behind it all throwing 91 across the diamond. Also ran a 6.70 sixty. Right-handed hitter who really showed out in bp and live game action. Went yard 3 times in live game action. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base and a ton of bat speed. Quick hands and rotates well. Showed impressive feel for the barrel and could spray liners all over the field with authority. Really turns it over hard. Good student. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
