Peter Burnley is a 2024 C/1B/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Sicklerville, NJ who attends St. Augustine Preparatory. Works from a medium frame with broad shoulders and some physical strength present. Primary catcher, starts in a squared stance, gets out of the set fairly quickly, standing up on the throws, arm path is a bit lengthy, kept the throws around the bag, recorded arm strength up to 70 mph and a pop time of 2.10. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open base with a low back elbow, utilizes a toe tap trigger, keeps the hands loose and takes a direct path to the ball, has a consistent barrel and controls it fairly well, has some present bat speed and attempts to create leverage, recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 7.27 sixty-yard dash. Good student.
