Cameron Wilson is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Murrayville, GA who attends Gainesville HS. Recorded a 6.90 60-yard dash. Smaller frame with quick twitch athleticism throughout. Good lateral quickness in the infield and was light on his feet. Excellent footwork with solid arm strength across the diamond. Very fluid and easy actions with accurate throws. Narrow open stance at the plate with a simple repeatable swing. Showed the ability to barrel line drives up the middle and to the pull side. Contact oriented swing path and approach who should hit for a high average. Named to the 2017 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect Team. Excellent student.
