Landon Mack is a 2024 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Columbus, NJ who attends Bishop Eustace Prep. Athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Primary middle infielder on defense, very comfortable on the move and has good footwork and balance fielding the ball, gets the glove down early, pretty polished overall actions. Switch-hitter at the plate, loads back and gets into his lower half well from the right side, has fast hands and fires them on time, short inside swing path with middle of the field contact. Less bat speed from the left side, shorter to and through the ball with an all fields contact approach. Also pitched, has simple turn and throw mechanics that he repeats well, mid 3/4's arm slot. Worked in the mid-80's on his fastball, gets very consistent running life on the pitch and throws the pitch for strikes, especially spotting up to the glove side. Change up was a good pitch and tunneled well with his fastball, also threw a curveball with some 11/5 shape. Projectable athlete with nice present skills. Good student, verbal commitment to Rutgers.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
