Nick Baus is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends South Forsyth High School. Small build, slender frame with room to fill, and projectable physically. Posted a 7.30 60 yard dash. In the field, showed quick feet with strength going up the middle with accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, tall, upright stance with a narrow base. Deep hand load with leg lift timing mechanism. Pull approach with inside hand path and some bat speed. Flashes feel for barrel, will improve with additional strength. On the mound, showed a short, compact arm action with a fastball that topped out at 76.
