Clay Ochoa is a 2017 2B/OF, 2B with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Rockwall, TX who attends Rockwall. Young, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, shows quick feet to the ball and has some range to either side, charges and attacks the ball, short arm action, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set with a low back elbow. Sound approach in the box, short bat path to the ball, slight uphill plane in swing, gets the barrel through the zone with a contact approach. Very good student.
