Justin Mellano is a 2015 OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Fullerton, CA who attends Sonora. Large frame, long lean athletic build with room to fill. Moves well in the outffield with solid straight line speed and good agility, long arm action with a quick arm and solid all around defensive tools that were on display in games. Hits from a low hand set with a rotational swing with a line drive plane. Relaxed in the box with tension free swing actions, good extension through contact, hit an inside the park home run in one of his games, as he gets stronger may develop ability to drive the ball over the fence. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
