Nelson Jorge Pagan is a 2014 SS/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Patillas, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build, loose actions, room to get stronger. Ran a 6.96 in the sixty has been down to 6.54 in the past. Quick and athletic in the infield, plays with flair, good hands with quickness, moves through the ball very well, charges hard, strong arm with carry, stands out athletically at second base. Can also play the outfield with plus arm strength and a quick release. Switch hitter, prospect tools from both sides but better left handed. Is short and quick to the ball left handed, very good bat speed, lots of right centerfield power, consistent hard contact. Busy load right handed creates timing inconsistency, still has bat speed, quick hands and bat speed, more of a spray line drive swing. Nice all around player who flashes all the tools.
