Jared Janczak is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Temple, TX who attends Belton HS. Strong athletic build. Two-way prospect. 6.82 runner, moves to the ball aggressively in the outfield, short quick arm with good arm strength, athletic defensive player who could likely play all over the field. Right handed hitter, tall balanced stance, limited lower half shift, quick hands and has strength at contact, pull line drive contact, ball comes off the barrel well. Steady upper 80's fastball on the mound, clean quick arm action, high 3/4's to over the top release, curveball gets good 11/5 bite at times with good shape, threw strikes and looked comfortable on the mound. Good student, verbal commitment to TCU.
