Alex Featherstone is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Ardrey Kell High School. Medium build, large frame with square shoulders and present strength. Posted a 7.07 60 yard dash. From the infield, fields out in front with quick feet. Ball comes out clean with good arm strength across the diamond up to 84. Right handed hitter, utilized an upright stance and high hand set. Present bat speed and strength, ability to drive ball with carry and match swing plane. Good shift and balance through swing with a line drive oriented approach and good barrel feel. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
