Michael Gomez is a 2014 RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Upland, CA who attends Upland. Gomez has a long lean build with room to fill out, short arm action, high 3/4 arm slot, quick arm, works down hill, arm works well, fastball is heavy and mostly straight with occasional arm side run, slider has late break and has makings for plus pitch, velocity projects, interesting arm, hits from a square stance, leg lift trigger, hits to all fields, aggressive line drive swing with good bat speed, named to top prospect team, good student.
