Blake Frampton is a 2014 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Abilene, TX who attends Abilene Wylie HS. Tall slender build, plenty of room to get stronger. Deceptive delivery, hides ball well, compact quick arm action, ball gets on hitters quickly, poor swings against. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight with occasional run, short and tight 70 mph slider, developing feel for a change up. Threw strikes and was effective. Left handed hitter, simple short swing, good balance, lacks strength to drive the ball at present, tends to give up hands at contact. 7.01 runner, outfield throws have some carry. Good student.
