Christian Ruff is a 2016 C/OF, SS, RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Hinesville, GA who attends Savannah Christian Prep. Ruff has a medium sized frame with a thin lean build. Defensively he has developing catch and throw tools with arm strength up to 75 MPH on his pop throws. Ruff stands to throw on his pop throws and has a longer arm action. He has solid receiving skills and moves behind the plate well. At the plate, Ruff starts with an open stance with a deeper hand set. He uses a rock back load and has an arm bar swing. Ruff has some bat speed and some lift to his swing. Good student.
