Matthew Rykaczewski is a 2014 C/ with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Marlton, NJ who attends Cherokee. Strong, athletic build, well proportioned. Looks the part behind the plate. Ran a 7.46 60 yard dash. Shows a very strong from behind the plate, sound fundamentals and actions. Arm action gets wild at times, needs to stay low. Has a very quick release. Right-handed batter, works from a slight open and wide setup. Hands are very quick through the zone, has legitimate power potential. Has lift in his swing, and produces consistent line drive contact to all fields. High upside on both sides of the ball. Very good student.
