Schuyler Bates is a 2013 RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Ossining, NY who attends Kennedy Catholic HS. Tall, slender build. Over the top to high 3/4's release point, some cross body on release, pulls head off the plate but repeats delivery well, shows ability to work both sides of the plate. Upper 70's fastball, touched 80 mph, mostly straight, 67 mph curveball had good shape, spin can be tighter. Projects to keep improving with added strength. Good student.
