Lukas Burch is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Beamsville, ON who attends Beamsville. Athletic build, throws from 3/4 slot. Arm works well. Repeats arm action and has solid extension. Consistent high 60s velocity, topping out at 73. Good control of fastball and 62 mph curveball with short, early break. Has feel for straight changeup at 66 with sink and very good arm action. Will gain more velocity with strength and better use of lower half. Wide base at the plate. Line drive swing with an opposite field approach. Lots of backside in his swing. Has some strength. Excellent student.
