Evan Koenigsfeld is a 2028 C/RHP/3B with a 5-6 160 lb. frame from Linn, MO who attends Fatima. Koenisgfeld ran a 8.21 Sixty Yard Dash. Young athletic frame with plenty of room for strength going forward. Primary Catcher starting with a wide side straddle set up into a higher hip set. He stays online while receiving the ball with a compact short arm action through the backside with developing arm strength on throws. He presents plenty of accuracy on his throw downs on a hop. On the mound working with a slight drop and drive operation down the slope. The leg lift is hip height creating some extension down the slope with a short arm action through the backside at a higher 3/4s slot. Evan presents a low 70s fastball with some run as well as a breaking ball with occasional tight spin at a 11-5 shape. Right handed hitter in the box with a wider base into a small leg lift trigger. The. swing stays compact to the body with some connectivity to the backside rotation. The path is leveled through the zone with a middle of the field approach.
