Nathan Breed is a 2029 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Garner, NC who attends N/A. Long limbed athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.71 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has some athleticism and developing arm strength, still working on his footwork, more arm strength their immediately with some throwing fundamentals. Also played first base and showed good athleticism coming off the bag, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, starts from an even to slightly closed stance with a lift and replace leg trigger, can get late getting his foot down and has minimal lower half use, has quick and strong hands that can create some barrel whip even without his lower half, projects well as a hitter with adjustments and physical maturity. Also took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch from the third base side of the rubber, high leg raise start with some coil over the rubber, compact arm action from a low 3/4's arm slot, short stride down the mound. Fastball was consistently in the mid-70's, mostly straight with some arm side life, locates his fastball well. Flashed a firm change up with some late fading action, did not show a breaking ball. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
