Brayden Moreno is a 2028 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek. Features a taller, lanky build with room to add. Ran an 8.15 60-yard dash. Worked out at first base and in the outfield. Displayed clean hands in the outfield. Still refining footwork into the catchpoint. Developing the ability to maintain momentum throughout. Was accurate using a short arm action release. Accuracy played well at first base too, showcasing a quick release into feeds. Reached 67 mph from each spot respectively during workouts. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a high back elbow. Shows a longer path with good extension out front. Has some bat speed present while flashing feel for the barrel. Left-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery with drop and drive mechanics. Gets into legs and moves down the mound well. Throws from a lower 3/4 slot with some arm speed present. Fastball got up to 70 mph with armside run. Can work the offering in of left-handed hitters often. Looks to pound the zone with the offering. Can create sweeping action on slider at 58-61 mph. Will get some depth when spun well. Still developing consistent feel for the offering. Excellent student.
