Bryant Castillo is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from San Leandro, CA who attends San Leandro High School. Features a medium build with strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher. Throws exclusively out of the stretch. Stays under control well throughout slight drop and drive mechanics. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a longer arm action. Will fly open at times. Fastball sat 73-76 mph with slight cut action. Can work the offering in on right-handed hitters. Curveball at 61-63 mph showed downward action. Still developing consistent feel for the offering. Worked out on the infield as well. Range profiles best for a corner spot. Hands can work through hops well. Consistently catches the backhand cleanly. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wider base into a simple timing mechanism. Swings on a direct path. Looks to shoot balls the other way. Still developing feel for the barrel. Ran a 7.67 60-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
