Matthew Carleton is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Hoodsport, WA who attends Shelton. Features a tall, lean, projectable, high waisted frame. On the mound he has a counter rotating delivery with full arm swing to a three-quarters release. Pitches with a ton of tangeible confidence on the mound. Command stood out to the glove side. Threw a couple of legit sliders. Holds plane well out of the hand. Racked a solid amount of whiffs on both pitches. In the outfield he showed proper footwork and glove technique with the ability to work through. He throws out of a high three-quarters slot with carry and accuracy. At the plate he a narrow base with a simplistic approach. He was on the barrel throughout the round showcasing solid bat speed and strength. He is a very good student.
