Haydenn Downes is a 2027 OF/IF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Carrollton. Nice athletic build with good strength and length and plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow stance with a low hand load, has good flow and rhythm into his swing, swings hard and creates bat speed, accurate barrel with hard line drive contact, lots of offensive upside. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball upright and can get out front more consistently with his glove, arm works well and clears his back side throwing well, arm strength will keep improving with more advanced footwork through the ball. Very good student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
