Matthew Lincicum is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Lodi, WI who attends Lodi. Features a medium frame with a lean build and plenty of room to add. Ran a 7.62 60-yd dash. In the OF, he used longer strides with average quickness in his approach. Fielded it with two hands with some stiffness in the glove actions. Stops momentum a bit into a deeper reception. His arm worked long and loose out the glove and to a higher release that got off throws with avg. strength. At the plate, he sits in a taller/relaxed stance from the left side. He uses a simple forward move where his hands pop back and load into a slight arm bar. The swing is a longer rotational one that works on the barrel on a flatter path through with a level finish and that showed avg. bat/hand speed. Best impact results during his BP round were some sharp low-liners he sent back up the box. On the mound, he showed that same longer/loose arm action he used in the OF. It's a lower effort slow-tempo operation. Works more tall/fall and lands soft but on-line. He ran the fastball up to 73 that exhibited some arm side run. Flashed a larger low 60s breaking ball. Showed spotty command but was seemingly effective against LHHs producing several whiffs.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
