Rocco Damato is a 2025 C/2B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Westmont, IL, who attends Westmont. A bigger frame and sturdy build. Ran an 8.17 60-yard dash. A primary catcher who had a higher setup in the crouch with slightly open feet. He had some energy out of the crouch with direct footwork moving upward. He was accurate to second base around the tag zone. He used a shorter release and compact arm action to get rid of the base. Threw 69 mph and produced 2.13 pop time. A right-handed hitter with a medium base, lower handset, and lower back elbow. He has a relaxed setup with a quick stride for timing, using the upper body to swing hard through contact. Higher two-handed finish with hands tighter to the body. He was able to lift a couple of balls during his round of swings. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Exceptional student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
