Layton Turner is a 2028 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Laguna Beach, CA who attends Laguna Beach. Features a medium, lean frame. On the mound he works primarily out of the stretch. His fastball has arm side run. He throws out of a 3/4 arm slot with the ability to locate. He has a three-pitch mix that includes a fastball, curveball and change up. He locates all three effectively. In the outfield he showed proper footwork and glove technique. His arm has carry with the ability to one hop and accurate. At the plate he has an up the middle approach with the ability to go pull side with developing bat speed. More to come with maturity.
