Noah Rist is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Altoona, IA who attends Pleasantville. Large build with well-proportioned strength present and some projection remaining. Primary shortstop, takes short and quick steps as he works through the baseball. Has softness in the hands with lateral range to both sides. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, operates from a full wind-up delivery with a belt-high leg lift. Separates the hands at the chin and into an inline arm path. Creates extension with his glove-side before releasing the baseball from a three-quarters slot. Mixed in looks from the stretch as well. Fastball was pretty straight and worked effectively in all four quadrants; topped it out at 77 mph. Mixed in a shorter vertical breaking ball and changeup with arm-side fade to it. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow stance with an even hand set-up. Utilizes a knee-to-knee load for timing before working into an uphill bat path. Creates easy carry at impact with good strength to the pull-side. Swing can get lengthy at times. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.64 sixty-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
