Carson Elkins is a 2028 C/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Foxworth, MS who attends Columbia Academy. Recorded a 9.42 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium build. Worked to gain ground in workouts behind the plate. Methodical and clean transfer to throw down. Also worked out in the infield and moved with short, choppy footwork. Used a medium length arm action to throw across the diamond. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet and a low hand set. Swing is hands oriented and utilizes a level bat path through the zone. Went to all fields during the round with line drives. Secondary right-handed pitcher and starts delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Uses full arm swing, releasing from a 3/4 slot. Threw strikes and also mixed in a curveball.
