2024 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Chet Furmanek III is a 2025 1B/C with a 6-3 230 lb. frame from Georgetown, DE who attends Sussex Central. Extra big and strong build, stands out physically. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open wider stance with a tight hand load, upper body rotational swing, drives his hands well and has very strong hands, big pull side juice when he gets extended through contact, will continue to improve with timing consistency, has the strength and tools to hit. 4.92 runner in the forty. Primary first baseman on defense, plays fast and gets out of control at times, has good raw arm strength and obvious athleticism for his size. No reason seen why he can't play some corner outfield as well as first base. Good student. Named to the Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
