Addison Johnson is a 2029 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-6 175 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Katy. Medium, broad shouldered frame with some present strength throughout build. Ran a 9.90 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, long and full arm action through the backside on throws with an extended release, shorter steps away from the bag, shows accuracy on throws with developing arm strength. Similar arm action/release from the outfield, gets uphill with release at times. Also pitched, deliberate tempo to operation on the mound, leg lift up to chest level; medium length arm action to a high three-quarters release point, lands on line coming down the mound; fastball topped out at 56 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a medium and even base in the box with a high hand set and back elbow set up; utilizes a knee lift trigger for timing. Shows some rhythm to swing, occasionally gets to front side early, linear path through the zone with some lift at the point of contact, incorporates strength out front.
