Benjamin Mendez is a 2025 SS/ with a 6-0 176 lb. frame from Cordova, TN who attends White Station HS. Recorded a 7.71 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some strength present and room for more. Primary shortstop who works through the ball well and moves athletically. Soft hands with a clean funnel. Shorter footwork with throws across recorded up to 82 mph. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Clean swing plane and can lift to both the middle of the field and opposite field. Toe tap into stride with an even base. Direct path with some impact and power projection present. Tremendous student.
