2023 Eastern Iowa Indoor Showcase
Kaden Campbell is a 2027 OF/RHP, IF with a 5-7 136 lb. frame from Carlisle, IA who attends Carlisle. Recorded a 5.12 second 40-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a smaller/compact frame, fields it out front and stays under control with his actions. Utilizes a medium arm action and quick release from the ear, keeps the ball in the middle of his body during the fielding process. Also worked out in the infield, works hard to get into good fielding positions, will improve in time with more experience here. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a quick knee to back hip leg lift that helps him in creating torque. Quick release and motion overall, will rush to throw at times. Hides the ball well in his delivery and utilizes an over the top arm action. Will continue to improve with more consistency in the operation. Right-handed hitter with an upright stance and a quick knee lift trigger. Rotational swing, would benefit from getting the lower half more involved and driving the back hip. High hand and back elbow set, has some stiffness at present, will continue to improve with strength and added repetitions. Great student.
