Diego Patrick is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Murrells Inlet, SC who attends Waccamaw. Patrick works from a medium long limbed build with additional room to fill out and add strength. As a primary LHP, he worked from the stretch displaying simple mechanics and a slight shoulder tilt at the top of the delivery before working downhill to top out at 80 mph. Patrick effectively hid the ball from hitters and mixed an 11-5 shaped breaker with vertical depth from a high 3/4 slot. At 1B, he flashed clean glove work and sound footwork to make plays asked of him with accurate throws across the diamond. Offensively, the lefty started from a narrow stance with intent to use all parts of the field. He stays short through the ball and will continue adding power potential as the lower half becomes more incorporated. Ran a 7.43 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
