Kyle McBeth is a 2028 2B/SS with a 5-3 101 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. Compact athlete, with some wiry strength and a lot of time and growth ahead of him. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.26 seconds. Primary position IF, moving quite well on his feet and showing an understanding for angles and speed of the game. Glove work gets a touch stabby but it is accurate and secures the ball well. Appropriately short arm action with good accuracy and feeds up to 60 mph across the diamond. Showed nice dexterity and agility as he handled the slow roller well, good ability here. Also jumped on the mound in scrimmage showing a simple, repeatable delivery and working directly down the slope. Efficient arm circle and filling up the strike zone. Some projection here with a FB up to 57 mph and a solid vertical CB in the low-50s. RHH with an inline balanced start before loading well into his backside and turning full in the core. Long, loose swing letting the hands delivery the barrel. Stays in the middle of the field and has the look of a hitter as he develops more physicality. Young athlete with a lot to look forward to.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
