Alexander Burke is a 2027 SS/RHP, C, 3B with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL, who attends Oak Park & River Forest. A compact frame with a sturdy build. Ran an 8.09 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who worked out at the position with some feel for the footwork moving up the middle. He had a clean release with some speed to the arm. He adjusted slots as needed and was able to make the plays throwing across the infield. He gets in position well for the backhand and works through the ball with his lower half well. Threw 71 mph across the diamond. Also worked out as a catcher. He's jumpy working out of the crouch, quick to get out of his wider base, with slightly open feet. He replaces his feet and works into the right-handed batters' box as he gets to release. He had an uphill release, working from a quicker transfer. A switch-hitter. As a left-handed hitter, he has an even base with the weight back, working to the opposite field during his round of BP swings. Lower back elbow with a simple swing through contact. He had the same setup as a right-hander, with slightly closed-off feet in his stance. Lengthier stride from the right side with a clean stroke and a good finish through contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
