Pittman is a 5-8, 160 lb senior right handed pitcher from Texas with good physical maturity and present strength. He has very sound pitching mechanics with a quick, fast paced delivery and short, compact and equally quick arm stroke. Pittman was very steady at 84-86 mph with his fastball with some tailing life into right handed hitters. His breaking ball was a 70 mph college type slurve with a controlled, sweeping break. Pittman was very aggressive early in counts throwing strikes and getting ahead of hitters. He gets outs in a hurry!. Don't underestimate this young man because of his size. He's a first rate competitor with a strong arm and the ability to pitch. Pittman is also a good student.
