Lucas Clarke is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Newport. Slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Primary left handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch with an easy delivery and a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball works in the mid-70's and is thrown for strikes, works off his fastball to set up his secondary pitches, threw both a slider and change up with good feel and location to consistently induce weak swings, finesse southpaw who has an idea what he's doing on the mound. Left handed hitter, hits from an open and relaxed stance with a big leg raise/hand pump start, swing was loose and easy with some extension through contact, worked the middle of the field with line drive contact. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Good student.
