Logan Smith is a 2024 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Shawnee Mission South. Recorded a 7.85 second sixty yard dash time. Compact and sturdy build. Primary catcher, works from a one knee set up that just gets his body turned and throws. Good blocking skills behind the plate and was able to get a couple of calls for the pitcher during game action. Also impressed defensively at first base during the games. Right-handed hitter, starts from an even base and a square stance. Compact swings with some strength in the swing from a level bat path. Extends through the baseball well with solid average bat speed and developing pull-side power. Hit well in game adding two hits during the games. Exciting player with good upside. Excellent student. Named to the Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
