Richie Lopez is a 2028 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from San Tan Valley, AZ. Features a bigger build with some strength present. Ran an 8.11 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Showcases a patient approach with developing footwork into the catchpoint. Throws from a shorter arm action release. Reached 72 mph during workouts. Worked out at first base. Range profiles well for the spot. Still refining fluidity of feet and hands. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even stance into a moderate leg lift timing mechanism. Shows a pullside approach with extension out front. Has some feel for the barrel present, allowing for balls to be driven well to the pullside. Left-handed pitcher. Throws from a 3/4 slot with slight drop and drive mechanics. Fastball sat 70-74 mph with some sink. Flashed both a curveball with more depth and slider with more horizontal action. Still refining consistent command of the pitch mix.
