Camryn Gooding is a 2028 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-3 150 lb. frame from Winterville, NC who attends D H Conley. Recorded a 7.15 second sixty yard dash time. Small frame with a compact build and some strength present. Primary outfielder that moves fine with a one-hand gather and a mid-line transfer with a long arm swing. High arm slot with a medium, in-line arm path with a solid arm with some carry and one-hop accuracy. Secondary infielder that was methodical to throw with accuracy and carry with easier arm strength and good throwing on the run. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a waist-level leg lift and lands on-line. Under control with a repeatable delivery and a medium length arm action. High three- quarter arm action. The fastball (2095 RPM) was 72-76 and mixed in a curveball (2206 RPM) was mid-60s with medium depth and 11-5 shape. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium base with even feet, utilizes a small leg lift. Compact stroke driven by the hands with a very flat bat plane and good bat speed. Peppering the ball line-to-line. Quiet hands and knows the barrel. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Named to the 2024 14u Coastal All-State Games Top Prospect List.
