2024 National Showcase
Keegan Russell is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-6 235 lb. frame from Whitby, ON who attends All Saints. Extra large frame with a physical build and strong present lower half. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Leg lift below the belt with some effort at foot strike. Looks to sink the ball, and gets on top to do so Works quickly and looks to get ahead with the fastball. The heater flashed some solid vertical life but worked best to get ground balls with sink. Breaking ball flashed quality sweeping action to it and will firm up as he begins to throw it harder and add strength. Flashed a low-80s changeup to lefties with solid arm side fading action. Very physical right-hander with a solid three pitch mix and room for additional upside. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
